Monadnock Building – 53 W Jackson, Suite 1605
Our south loop offices are located in the historic Monadnock Building at 53 W Jackson Blvd. Home to over 300 small professional firms, the Monadnock is unlike most any other office building in Chicago. Built in two phases in 1891 and 1893, it was once the largest office building in the world.
The current building owners have ensured that any renovations or modernization efforts reflect the original building design and purpose as much as possible – down to the light fixtures and bulbs. A building that adapts to and functions in current day, while celebrating and embracing its history seems the perfect setting for a psychotherapy office.
Although we did not embrace nineteenth century furnishings or decor for our offices, we did strive to create comfortable and non-judgmental therapy spaces that reflect the uniqueness of the building. Our offices are designed to facilitate your success in therapy, and we want you to be as comfortable here as possible.
Announce Your Arrival
Note that there is a waiting room inside the suite. When you enter the suite for your appointment have a seat in the waiting area. Your therapist will come and find you when it time for your appointment.
At times, therapists may keep the outer door of the suite locked for security purposes. If you arrive and find the suite door locked, please ring the doorbell to the right. Know that you may have to wait in the hall if your therapist is session and thus unable to respond until your appointment time.
Where We Are
Our office is conveniently located on the southwest corner of Jackson and Dearborn, in the historic Monadnock Building in downtown Chicago at 53 W Jackson Blvd (on the corner of Dearborn and Jackson).
We are easily accessible by all CTA trains. In addition, numerous buses, including (among MANY others) the 6, 10, 22, 29, 36, 62, 126, 146, and 147, stop within 1 city block of the office.
Street parking is sometimes available, but can be extremely difficult to find. However, there is a public parking lot just to the west of the building on S. Federal Street, but know this is an expensive parking option.
