Ashley Blake, MSW, LCSW
Life can be challenging, and there are times we need someone to help us work through those challenges. Going to therapy isn’t a sign of weakness – just the opposite. Seeking the support of another person is one of the healthiest things you can do for yourself.
As your therapist, my top priority is creating a safe and non-judgmental space for you to experience your feelings. Together, we explore how to tackle your obstacles, gain greater insight, and cultivate more joy. Although we are talking about serious and often difficult topics, you should feel comfortable and enjoy our meetings. There are no wrong words in a therapy session – our sessions are a time for you to express your most unpleasant thoughts or experiences.
If you are ready to get started, please contact me and schedule an appointment. You can email me firstname.lastname@example.org or call me directly at 312-448-7218.
Clients come to me for a variety of reasons, but assisting those struggling with depression, anxiety, traumatic experiences, and grief and loss are a particular clinical interest of mine. I welcome clients of every stripe and truly enjoy getting to know you as an individual. With a background in theater, I enjoy working with clients pursuing the creative arts.
I work with adolescents and adults of all gender and sexual orientations, providing individual and couples therapy.
