I believe the therapeutic relationship is a collaboration of interpreting and reflecting on one’s life and figuring out ways to address obstacles and finding opportunities for growth and improvement. I also help clients integrate their sense of self and who they are with how they live their lives to promote authenticity.
My clients are working through various issues including I have experience working with clients experiencing anxiety, depression, medical conditions, trauma, and interpersonal issues. My practice is informed by an integrative approach utilizing concepts and techniques from CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), mindfulness-based therapy, and narrative therapy.
Although I enjoy working with adults of all ages, ethnicities and gender identities, I have a particular interest in working with people of color and those who are part of the LGBTQ community.
