Congratulations on taking the first step in making a real difference in your life – you are on the right path!

My practice is open to adults looking to create change in their life.  You might be struggling with relationships in your life, feelings of hopelessness, depression/anxiety, or maybe you’re having difficulty handling conflict.  Whatever the reason you matter, your feelings, and experiences matter – you are important to me.

Your feelings and experiences matter. You matter.

I don’t see you as broken, instead that you are not satisfied with how you are coping with the often complex and contradictory world we live in.

In our sessions, we focus on your strengths and get to the root of the problem.  From there we work to create real lasting change.

It is an honor to assist you on the journey to living your best life.

Together we discover the root of what is troubling you.  Through our work you will overcome the sadness and helplessness that surrounds you now.  You’ll see your way forward as we define your path.

Even though we are often addressing complicated and painful subjects, therapy should not be additionally distressing. Our work enables you to feel stronger and lighter as we process through the issues that bring you to therapy – and sometimes you might even find yourself laughing during sessions.

More About Me

I received my Master of Social Work (MSW) at UIC in 2006 and began my journey as a therapist.  For over 17 years I’ve had the honor of working with people from all walks of life and I value each person that has allowed me to assist them on their journey.  My clients seek services for a variety of reasons, but all share the common thread that they are doing their best to move forward in a world that doesn’t always make that easy.

In addition to working with those experiencing problems with depression or anxietylife transitions, and trauma/abuse recovery – I have a special interest in working with bipolar disorder, personality disorders, adults who are neurodiverse including struggling with ADHD, and those struggling with low self-esteem and confidence.

My clinical experience allows me to therapeutically intervene in a way that is meaningful to each person I work with.

I look forward to assisting you in your journey.

I am currently accepting new clients. I look forward to talking with you, please contact me and schedule an appointment. My practice is limited to telehealth, and I am open to working with anyone in the state of Illinois. Sessions are conducted via a secure HIPAA compliant video call platform.  Contact me to get started.
