Honoring Your Story, Empowering Your Growth

You deserve a space where you feel seen, understood, and valued—a space where your experiences, identity, and goals are at the center. I’m here to support you in navigating life’s challenges, whether that involves unpacking trauma, managing chronic pain or an eating disorder, or finding healing in the face of systemic pressures. Together, we’ll build a collaborative partnership focused on your growth and well-being.

As your therapist, I’m here to meet you where you are and honor your lived experiences. I don’t define your journey—I listen, I collaborate, and I hold space for the stories you want to share. I approach each session with curiosity, compassion, and intention so that together, we can uncover what feels most meaningful to you. I don’t have all the answers, but I can walk alongside you as you explore them, empowering you to make choices that align with your values and goals.

My Approach

In my practice, I create an inclusive and affirming environment for people of all gender identities, sexual orientations, cultural and racial backgrounds, and spiritual traditions. My approach is grounded in recognizing your inherent worth and the strength you already carry. Using evidence-based modalities—including person-centered therapy, CBT, DBT, ACT, TF-CBT, mindfulness, experiential exposure therapy, harm reduction, and narrative therapy—I’ll help you explore your story and reclaim your narrative.

More About Me

As a first-generation immigrant and non-binary Latine lesbian, I bring a deeply personal understanding of navigating intersectional identities and complex systems. My lived experience as a trauma survivor and someone managing chronic pain and medical conditions informs my compassionate, client-centered care. I’ve earned a B.A. in Psychology with a concentration in Community Psychology from DePaul University and an M.A. in Counseling Psychology from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology. My clinical experience spans outpatient, residential, partial hospitalization, and intensive outpatient settings.

I am committed to decolonizing therapy by challenging traditional power dynamics and centering the systemic and cultural factors that shape your life. I understand how history, values, and community affect each individual, and I aim to honor those influences as we work together.

Your voice matters. Your goals are the foundation of our work. Let’s create a space where you can heal, grow, and thrive on your terms.

I am currently accepting new clients.  I look forward to talking with you, please contact me and schedule an appointment. My practice is limited to telehealth, and I am open to working with anyone in the state of Illinois.  Sessions are conducted via a secure HIPAA compliant video call platform.  Contact me to get started.
