Relationships can be one of the greatest sources of connection and support—but they can also be where we feel the most stuck, misunderstood, or hurt. Whether you’re navigating dating, relationship conflict, a breakup, uncertainty about whether to stay or leave, or wanting to strengthen an existing relationship, therapy can help you move forward with greater clarity and confidence.
I work with individuals, couples, and all relationship structures, including interracial relationships, consensual non-monogamy, friendships, and partnerships of all kinds. My specialties include premarital counseling, attachment differences, codependency, financial stress in relationships, teen pregnancy/teen parenthood, and helping clients build healthier, more fulfilling connections.
My approach is warm, collaborative, and practical. I draw from Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) and Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT) to help clients better understand patterns, improve communication, and create meaningful change. As a biracial therapist, I also bring a multicultural and anti-oppressive lens to this work, recognizing how identity, culture, family dynamics, and larger systems shape our relationships and sense of self.
I strive to create a space where clients feel comfortable, understood, and empowered. Reaching out for support can feel vulnerable, but you don’t have to navigate things alone. I’d be honored to support you in creating the connection and life you want.
I’m often the best fit for clients who are ready to move beyond insight alone and begin practicing new patterns, communication tools, and healthier ways of relating. For couples, therapy is most effective when both partners are willing to look at the relationship dynamic together rather than focusing only on who is “right” or “wrong.”
I am currently accepting new clients. I look forward to talking with you, please contact me and schedule an appointment. My practice is limited to telehealth, and I am open to working with anyone in the state of Illinois. Sessions are conducted via a secure HIPAA compliant video call platforms.
