When Life Feels Overwhelming, Therapy Can Help
Life’s challenges can appear suddenly, leaving you feeling lost, anxious, or weighed down by worry and hesitation. Instead of navigating with confidence and calm, you may feel like you’re just trying to get through each day, struggling with anxiety, depression, or uncertainty about the future.
At times, it can feel like you’re standing in the middle of a ticking time bomb—desperately searching for a way to diffuse it. Maybe your usual coping skills aren’t working, or they were never all that effective to begin with. When life feels unpredictable, how do you regain a sense of stability, let alone respond in a way that feels healthy and empowering?
You may be going through a major transition, feeling stuck at a crossroads without a clear path forward. Maybe you’ve heard people say that life is about the journey, but right now, it feels more like an endless detour. The obstacles in front of you seem impossible to overcome, and at some point, you start to wonder if you should just accept things as they are—surviving rather than truly living.
But these challenges, no matter how overwhelming, are not insurmountable.
We should talk.
Therapy can help you thrive not just survive.
Together, we’ll focus on your healing. Step by step, you’ll regain your bearings and confidence. The therapeutic process is designed to help you move forward, break through barriers, and create real, lasting change. While starting therapy may feel overwhelming, you don’t have to do it alone. I’m here to walk with you—helping you shift from fear and uncertainty to a place of optimism and control, one step at a time.
More About Me
With over 30 years of experience in various clinical settings, I’ve had the privilege of witnessing the resilience and unique strengths that each person possesses. Your story is yours alone, and I believe that therapy should be just as individualized. That’s why I tailor my approach to fit your specific needs and preferences, drawing from a combination of evidence-based techniques to ease anxiety, depression, and distress while also addressing substance use or other unhelpful habits.
I work with adults and teens of all genders, helping them navigate life transitions, trauma, grief, anxiety, and depression. More than anything, I enjoy working with those who are ready to actively engage in the process—at whatever pace feels right for them. Therapy is a collaborative journey, and I look forward to learning about your experiences, perspectives, and goals.
No matter what brings you to therapy, I see it as an honor to walk alongside you on your path to healing.
Clinical focus includes life transitions, trauma, anxiety, grief, and depression. I work with adults and teens of all genders.
