Trust Your Voice.
You spend a lot of your life taking care of other people, meeting expectations, making difficult decisions, and trying to figure out what comes next. Somewhere along the way, it can become difficult to recognize your own voice, trust your instincts, or know what you truly want. If you’re feeling stuck, uncertain, or simply ready to better understand yourself, you’re not alone.
The way you experience the world is shaped by more than your personality. Family expectations, cultural values, identity, and past experiences all influence how you connect with others, express your needs, set boundaries, and respond to conflict or uncertainty. Together, we’ll explore these influences with curiosity and compassion, helping you build greater confidence, healthier relationships, and a stronger sense of self.
I work with individuals, couples, and people in all relationship structures, including interracial relationships, consensual non-monogamy, friendships, and partnerships of all kinds. My specialties include premarital counseling, attachment differences, codependency, financial stress in relationships, teen pregnancy and teen parenthood, and helping clients build healthier, more fulfilling connections.
I tend to be the best fit for clients who are ready to move beyond simply understanding their patterns and begin creating new ones. Therapy is most effective when approached with openness, curiosity, and a genuine commitment to growth.
More About Me
My approach is warm, collaborative, and practical. I draw from Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) and Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT) to help clients better understand patterns, improve communication, and create meaningful change. As a biracial therapist, I also bring a multicultural and anti-oppressive lens to this work, recognizing how identity, culture, family dynamics, and larger systems shape our relationships and sense of self.
I strive to create a space where you feel comfortable, understood, and empowered. Reaching out for support can feel vulnerable, but you don’t have to navigate things alone. I’d be honored to support you in creating the connection and life you want.
I earned my Master of Arts (MA) in Couple and Family Therapy from Adler University in Chicago. My undergraduate degree is a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Human Development and Family Science from Illinois State University.
I am currently accepting new clients. I look forward to talking with you, please contact me and schedule an appointment. My practice is limited to telehealth, and I am open to working with anyone in the state of Illinois. Sessions are conducted via a secure HIPAA compliant video call platforms.
